i am glad you asked that question,

Joiplay is an awesome emulator that can emulates a lot of visual novel engines(renpy,rpg maker,html games,etc), In simple sense it's an app that can play games that are on renpy engine,rpgm engine,html,tyranno based games,etc

joiplay is a free app,it is developed and made by Rwosan,joiplay gets updates very frequently, the app is still in development and you will find some bugs here and there but all in all, it's an solid app and able to play your favourite pc visual novels or rpg games in your phone is always the coolest thing,

you can except some problems in rpg maker games but it almost plays most of the renpy games so well(except some  renpy vns),that i play most of renpy,s games in joiplay,because i can use cheats,mods,etc where as i can't use mods in premade apks ports.

some games may have problems for which you may need additional patches,you can find it from rwosan's discord server

if You have any problems in joiplay or found any bug or in any game or if there are no paches available for your game, you can ask or request rwosan for the patch,He's a very nice guy(though I am not sure if he's a boy or girl) and is pretty active in his server, just ask him nicely and he will try his best to help you, ;)

Also, developing such an awesome app requires a lot of hard work and time(ofcourse using the brain at plus ultra) ,so you can support rwosan for his awesome+hard work in his patreon ,be sure to support him if you can,coz your support will give him the power he needs(ofcourse money always comes in handy).

So How do I download joiplay ?? 

well, that's an good question 

you can download the latest version from his github,but i will the link below, for you guys to make it easier to find

Just download the joiplay launcher and the required plugin for example if you want to play renpy games in joiplay you will need the renpy plugin or if you want to play rpg games,you need to download rpg plugin,.....

After downloading the app and the required plugin,now install the app and the plugin

How to play games in joiplay ??

well, playing games in joiplay is very easy you can play games by either through "importing .rga files" or you can just add a game by using "add feature" of the app

RGA file - RGA files are preconfigured files along with the game which were made for joiplayer,Joiplay also supports rga files,All the details are already written(like,name,version,etc)in .rga file,so you won't need to write them again just import them and that's it.

I.How to import a .rga file??

1.To import a rga file,first open the joiplay app press on three 3 dots on above click on "import"

2.now go where you have the rga file,select the rga and press "choose"

3.wait for extraction to finish.

4.after extraction finishes, the game will be added to joiplay,just click on the game to start playing.

II.Adding features- if you have an pc version of the game(.exe), you need to add the game using "Add" option of joiplay

How to add a pc version of the game in joiplay??

To add a game-

1.when you open joiplay,you will see a "+" like icon there, click on it 

2. after that, type the game name, choose the exe of the game,add icon,etc...game name and icon aren't important though you can just leave them empty, but choosing the exe is the important

3.To choose the exe of the game,on game executable option,click on choose,  

4.go where your game is,select the exe of the game (you can even choose of the .py or .sh) and press choose. 

5.after doing everything just press on add, to add the game on joiplay.

5.click on the game to start playing.

important things you should know-

there are features and tweaks provided in joiplay's settings section which make your experience in joiplay more enjoyable 

how to make a default folder for joiplay??

suppose you keep your games in a sepecific folder, and you don't to go all the way to that 

folder to select a game, you make that folder your joiplay's default folder,so next time you open joiplay, joiplay will open from your choosen default folder.

steps-

1.go to settings, then open "app setting" section,

2.there you will find default folder option click there to choose your default folder

3.now go to that folder which you want to make and press ok ,so next time when you open joiplay it will open from your default folder

Gamepad settings :-

yeah joiplay also has a builtin gamepad,

so in gamepad setting you can change the gamepad button's and other things according to your requirements and needs, for example in renpy games,sometimes game's menu can be hidden from screen and you need to press "escape" to go to the menu, but we don't have escape button in phone,so we can use gamepad to add virtual escape button,by changing a button to "escape" in gamepad setting

and important thing you need to press save button to your changes.

Renp'y settings :

renpy settings has settings for renpy based games,mostly some tweaks to ensure your games run better

HW video option: enabling HW video option means enabling hardware acceleration for videoplayback, you might notice that in joiplay that sometimes video is laggy or shutters during playback,so enabling HW option can slove that problem for you,

but warning enabling "hw video option" can lead to crashing of some games,so use this option as your last option,

AutoSave option : as the option says autosave your game after every choices of your game,you need to enable it for it to take affect.

Html settings: contains tweaks and some setting for playing hltml games in joiplay

Rpgm plugin Settings : contains settings and useful tweaks for playing joiplay games with joiplay

and honestly, i am not familliar with rpg games as i don't play play rpg games myself,,,so got no idea, what's the use of the setting.
